Newborn Portraits

Welcoming a new baby into your family is one of life's most unforgettable milestones. At Mckenzie Toth Photography, my top priority is providing a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where you can relax while I capture your newborn's very first memories.

My goal during every newborn session is to preserve the sweetness, innocence, and tiny details that make this stage so special. From their little fingers and toes to those peaceful sleepy moments, these are memories you'll cherish for a lifetime.

Babies change so quickly, and before you know it, those tiny newborn features are gone. As the youngest of five children, I've always heard my parents say that kids grow up in the blink of an eye—and it's so true! Let's capture these precious first days of your little one's life while they're still so tiny, creating timeless portraits you'll treasure for years to come.

Newborn sessions are designed to move at your baby's pace. When booking a newborn session, please keep in mind that sessions typically last a minimum of 3 hours. This allows plenty of time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, swaddling, and comforting your little one throughout the session. Don't let the length of the session scare you! It gives you a chance to sit back, relax, and enjoy watching your baby's first professional portraits come to life.

I typically recommend at most 3 outfit changes during the session. This does not include the different swaddles that will be used throughout your baby's portraits. I have a beautiful collection of newborn outfits, wraps, and accessories available for you to choose from, but you're always welcome to bring special outfits or sentimental items you'd like included.

Every newborn session includes a minimum of 6 unique baskets or prop setups, giving you a wonderful variety of images. Before your session, we'll discuss your vision, including any colors, themes, props, or baskets you'd like to incorporate, so your baby's portraits are personalized to your family's style.

Your baby's safety and well-being are always my highest priority. Every prop, basket, outfit, wrap, blanket, and accessory used during your session is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each newborn to provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every family.
